Who We Are

Wayne Niddery

Wayne has been a professional developer since 1983 and brings a wealth of experience in a variety of different industries, hardware systems, and software languages. Industry experience includes banking, insurance, pharmaceuticals, retail, manuafacturing, and resource and time management. Hardware includes IBM mainframes, proprietary systems, and of course PCs. Languages range from Assembler and COBOL to C/C++, and Pascal and Delphi.

As a result of having used Pascal as a favoured choice for more than 10 years, Delphi was a natural choice upon its inception. Wayne has used Delphi extensively as an independent consultant and developer since 1995. Wayne co-authored the well-received Borland Delphi How-To (1995) and was a technical editor for The Delphi 3 SuperBible (1998) and Delphi COM Programming (2000).

Wayne is a member of Borland's TeamB, a group of volunteers recognized by Borland for their technical contributions to the Borland support newsgroups and most recently became a speaker at the 2002 Borland Conference.

Wayne is also a frequent contributor at the TorontoDelphi User's Group. Wayne is married with one son.

Glenn Shukster

Glenn has been president of GMS Computing Inc. which has developed software for over 10 years. He has developed and supported many systems through their entire life cycles. One membership program he designed and developed for a franchise was installed in over 80 offices worldwide at its peak. It is over 10 years old and still in production.

Glenn has always selected tools that don't limit his clients. That's why he chose Clipper when developing under DOS and then chose Delphi for Windows development. The systems he has created include membership, telemarketing, paging; with modules including commission, A/R, finger printer recognition, data driven report writers and many more. Glenn is married with two children and is always up for a competitive game of basketball or ping pong.

Glenn is currently president of the Toronto Delphi User's Group.
